The academy was founded in August 2018 by Jessica Pooch, Dania Michel and Fabienne Ehrler in Zurich. It aims towards a collaboration, in which multiple interests and practices are brought into relation with each other. Their motivation is to create an environment where people feel free to put something at risk as well as to rearrange existing correlations between sender and recipient. Its doors are open to everyone who is interested in participation and trial-and-error. Forms and concepts of communication, learning and unlearning from and with each other are of special interest.
